2tablespoons Vegetable Broth Powder or prepared Broth
2tablespoonsolive oil + additional for serving

15ouncesTomato sauce

Instructions
In a 2-cup glass measuring cup, mix hot water and vegetable broth powder, and set aside or 2 cups prepared vegetable broth
Heat a pot over medium low-heat. Add olive oil and garlic flakes and let cook for about one minute, until fragrant. Stir in tomato paste and cook for one to two minutes more, until well combined.
Stir in tomato sauce, sugar, salt and 1 cup of the broth. Bring to a boil, reduce to a simmer, and let cook for 10 minutes. If too thick, add a bit more broth as desired. After 10 minutes, taste and adjust salt if desired.
Divide soup into 4 bowls; top with olive oil and black pepper, and serve.
